SCBA/SAR Training Course
Honeywell Safety Products
is pleased to announce our next SCBA/SAR regulator repair/maintenance training courses to be held at Extreme Safety in Carson, CA
We will conduct three training courses as specified below:
General Course Prerequisites
All attendees MUST be Honeywell/Sperian/Survivair users or authorized Honeywell Service Centers with a PosiChek, licensed Honeywell/Sperian/Survivair PosiChek Software, and will be required to score 80% or better on written examinations to become a certified technician.
STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Their own tools (maximum 2 students per tool box)*
- 1 SCBA per 2 Students for the Panther/Sigma course.
- 1 SCBA per 2 Students for the Recertification course.
- No SCBA is required for the Titan Course.
- A Titan training pneumatic system will be provided during the course.
*A repair course tool list is attached to this form
1. The Panther/Sigma SCBA/SAR series training is a two-day course that includes troubleshooting and testing
DAY 1: Panther/Cougar Series SCBA Initial Training
DAY 2: Panther/Cougar Series SCBA/SAR Rebuild, Troubleshooting, and PosiChek Testing
2. The SCBA Technician Recertification Course is a one-day performance based class
SCBA/SAR Recertification Course
A. ONLY currently certified Honeywell/Sperian/Survivair/ SCBA/SAR Technicians, recertifying on: Titan/Panther/SIGMA Series SCBA or Panther Hip Pac/SAR systems may attend this course.
B. Persons attending this class MUST bring to class at least five (5) PosiChek test result sheets from SCBA/SAR systems that they have personally tested within the 90 days prior to the course date.
C. The PosiChek test result sheets must reflect the make/model/type SCBA/SAR systems upon which the technician is being recertified.
D. If you DO NOT/CANNOT meet these prerequisites then you must enroll into the appropriate 2 day training course.
3. The Titan SCBA training is a two-day course that includes troubleshooting and testing
DAY 1: Titan SCBA Initial Training
DAY 2: Titan SCBA Rebuild, Troubleshooting, and PosiChekTesting
CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED TO 10 PEOPLE FOR EITHER 2 DAY COURSE
CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED TO 5 PEOPLE FOR THE RECERTIFICATION COURSE
Honeywell reserves the right to accept / reject any application.
